Concert Night

The entertainment continues once the sun goes down on Saturday May 27th, with live music at Cadillacs Bar & Grill (formerly Grace’s Tavern).

Southern River Band – Festival Headliner

In a world where it’s all too easy to write off bands just because ‘their style ain’t right’, the Southern River Band have their own unexampled style and they do it well.

The Southern River Band have been performing live for just over twelve months. In that time they have gone from playing cover shows at small taverns to playing shows at sold out venues around Perth.  The Southern River Band’s genre is essentially blues/rock – influenced by rock, country and blues bands from the 70’s and 80’s era such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bob Seger and Lynyrd Skynyrd to name a few.

Freakishly talented, witty and definitely entertaining, the Southern River Band boys will have you grinning from ear to ear on the 2017 Ningaloo Whaleshark Festival Concert Night.

Datura4 – Support Act

Originating in 2009 out of Fremantle,  Datura4  is the collaboration of legendary garage rockers Dom Mariani (The Stems) and  Greg Hitchcock (The Bamboos) , together with Stu Loasby and Warren Hall.

With an abundance of experience behind them stemming back to the 80’s and 90’s, this awesome foursome deliver hard core rock’n’roll  entwined with blues, full-tilt boogie and heavy psychedelia, all of which is bound to have you mesmerised and your feet tapping all at once. Welcome Datura4,  it’s going to be our pleasure.
